This time, Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh) and Ashish (Ajay Devgn) are ready to move forward in their relationship. But one big barrier stands in their way — Ayesha’s father, Rajji (R. Madhavan), who cannot accept that his daughter wants to marry a man almost his age. His shock and resistance kick-start the film’s central conflict, leading to plenty of emotional and comic moments.

Things get even more interesting when Sameer (Meezaan Jafri) enters the story. He’s young, good-looking, and instantly wins over Ayesha’s father.
