Director Advait Chandan's Loveyapa has experienced a lackluster opening weekend at the Indian box office while facing competition from Badass Ravi Kumar and Sanam Teri Kasam, which have performed better. The film marks the theatrical debut of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, and it is now certain that they have begun their careers with a box office flop.

The film collected Rs. 1 crore nett on its opening day, which was a low start. Things didn't significantly change on the second day, as the film showed an expected growth of around 40%, which wasn't sufficient after such a low start. The Sunday figures are quite similar to those of Saturday, or slightly higher, according to estimates, after minting Rs. 1.40 crore nett on the second day.

The film has a total of approximately Rs. 4 crore nett for the opening weekend and will likely reach the Rs. 6 crore nett mark by the end of the week. This total won't be sufficient for the movie, which has a budget of over Rs. 30 crore, as the digital and music rights haven't covered much for the makers. Still, let's wait and see how it performs during the weekdays.
