Legendary actor Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are coming together after 38 years with the upcoming film Thug Life. The first single from the film was launched at a grand event in Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai. Present at the event were Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and A.R. Set against the backdrop of a pulsating wedding celebration, Jinguchaa features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR dancing to a track that is quintessentially Rahman—where earthy folk rhythms meet contemporary flair. With lyrics penned by Kamal Haasan, the song carries a playful charm and spirited energy, offering a vibrant first look into the layered world of Thug Life. In one word, it's bombastic!

Thug Life is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, R. Mahendran, Madras Talkies, and Siva Ananth. The film stars Kamal Haasan as Rangaraaya Sakthivel Naicker and features a powerhouse cast that includes Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Abhirami, Joju George, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Sanya Malhotra, and many more. The film is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2025.
