Jee Le Zaraa Back On Track Confirms Farhan Akhtar:

Jee Le Zaraa is finally back on track, according to its director Farhan Akhtar, who confirmed that the long-delayed film starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Katrina Kaif has overcome recent production hurdles. This is indeed good news for all fans who have been waiting for the female trio to come together for the life changing journey.

First announced in 2021 as a women-led road-trip adventure, Jee Le Zaraa generated widespread excitement for bringing together three of Bollywood’s most in-demand actresses. It was also called a female version of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). But repeated delays — mainly due to conflicting schedules among the female leads, Alia and Katrina's pregnancies and Chopra's global commitments — led to speculation that the film might be quietly shelved.

In a recent interview, Farhan acknowledged how difficult coordinating dates had become. “To be honest, it was traumatic trying to get the actors’ dates. But we’ve sorted all that out. We’ll start soon,” he said during an interview with DC, finally putting rumors of cancellation to rest.

Industry insiders confirm that all three actresses — Alia, Priyanka and Katrina — have cleared their schedules, paving the way for production to begin. The original cast remains intact, and the creative team, including co-writers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, are reportedly moving ahead with pre-production work.

For fans who’ve waited anxiously since the film’s announcement four years ago, this is the update they’ve been hoping for: Jee Le Zaraa is alive and ready to roll — and soon, the much-awaited journey of friendship, freedom and female camaraderie will take off once again. Now let's wait for some official announcement from the makers.
