Hrithik Roshan & Jr NTR to Wrap War 2 in April 2025 with a Fight Scene

War 2 shooting update:

War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and Jr. NTR as the antagonist, is one of the biggest films of 2025. Recently, the two shot a huge climax sequence at a studio and wrapped the schedule on time. However, the final leg is still pending and is scheduled for April 2025.

A report in Mid-Day states that War 2 will be wrapped in April 2025 as Ayan Mukerji will be filming some high-octane action and stunt sequences designed by international action and stunt directors Spiro Razatos and Se-Yeong Oh, who have worked on films like The Fate of the Furious (2017) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), respectively.

"War 2 Director Ayan Mukerji has saved some crucial action sequences for the last leg. Having taken the directorial baton from Siddharth Anand, Ayan wants to ensure that the action set pieces surpass those displayed in the 2019 original. The April schedule will be wholly dedicated to the fights and stunts, after which it will be a wrap on the spy thriller," informed a source to the portal.

After this, it will be an official wrap on War 2, and the film will enter the final post-production process. The final cut will be ready within 2-3 months, around July-August 2025, as the film hits cinemas on Independence Day 2025. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, while NTR Jr. plays the antagonist, and Kiara Advani will be seen as the leading lady.
