Dhurandhar Second Friday Record:
Dhurandhar has scripted a remarkable chapter in Hindi box office history by delivering the biggest second-Friday collection ever recorded. The film earned an estimated ₹30.50–31 crore nett on its second Friday, setting a new benchmark and firmly establishing its extraordinary momentum in the marketplace.

Until now, the record for the biggest second Friday among Hindi films belonged to Chhaava, which had collected around ₹23 crore. Dhurandhar has comfortably eclipsed that figure. Even when Hindi-dubbed releases are considered, the previous all-time high stood with Pushpa 2 at approximately ₹24.75 crore nett. By surpassing that milestone with a significant margin, Dhurandhar has rewritten the rulebook for second-week performances.
What makes this surge particularly fascinating is the film’s journey. It began with inflated opening figures that sparked debate, but instead of fizzling out, Dhurandhar has built organic traction at an astonishing pace, decreasing the feeding on weekdays. The blend of nationalism-driven appeal, constant discussions and arguments around its content, and the viral FA9LA trend has propelled the film into daily conversations, amplifying footfalls across circuits.

The turnaround is especially striking when compared to its opening day. A first-Friday collection of ₹16–17 crore nett had raised concerns, especially for a film mounted on a massive budget exceeding ₹275 crore. However, the second-Friday numbers have nearly doubled that figure, even after accounting for a little push from the makers. This dramatic climb underscores the power of sustained buzz and audience engagement.

Looking ahead, Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar Part One appears unstoppable for the next two to three weeks. The film is now strongly positioned to cross the ₹500 crore nett mark organically, with reported figures potentially sitting 15–20% higher. With the second weekend and second week poised to set new records, several towering benchmarks created by Pushpa 2 last December may soon fall.
