Hera Pheri 3 fans have reason to celebrate as Suniel Shetty recently confirmed that the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 teaser has been filmed and is set for release during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

The third installment of the iconic comedy franchise brings back the legendary trio—Suniel Shetty (Shyam), Akshay Kumar (Raju), and Paresh Rawal (Babu Bhaiya)—reuniting after years of speculation and delays, and that too with the original director, Priyadarshan, who directed the first film, Hera Pheri (2000).

Speaking in a recent interview with Amar Ujala, Shetty shared that filming for the teaser has been completed and hinted that the makers are strategically planning its release to coincide with the IPL, leveraging the massive viewership to create anticipation.

"The Hera Pheri 3 teaser is ready, and from what I know, they are planning to release it during this IPL. When the three of us met, it was so much fun. To tell you the truth, there should be a danger sign. Because when the three of us come together, the people around us go crazy trying to keep us in line," he said.
