F1 The Movie continues its winning streak at the Indian box office with an impressive second weekend, taking its 10-day total to approximately ₹49.25 crore nett. After collecting ₹34.50 crore nett in its first week, the film showed strong hold in its second weekend with ₹3.25 crore on Friday, ₹5.25 crore on Saturday, and ₹6.25 crore on Sunday.
The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun Maverick), and starring Hollywood star Brad Pitt, has surprised trade with its sustained momentum despite stiff competition from Jurassic World Rebirth. With around 90% of the collections coming from urban multiplexes, the film has clearly struck a chord with metro audiences.

The film’s success in India adds to Warner Bros.’ strong box office run, coming shortly after the hit Final Destination: Bloodlines. With positive word of mouth and consistent footfall in metros, F1 is now headed towards a Rs. 75 crore nett lifetime total in India—a fantastic achievement for a racing-themed standalone film. F1 has truly turned out to be a big surprise at the box office and a pleasant one.
F1 The Movie follows the story of a retired racer (played by Brad Pitt) making a comeback as he mentors a rookie driver, played by Damson Idris. The cast also includes Kerry Condon and Javier Bardem in pivotal roles.
