F1 The Movie Second Friday Box Office Update:

Brad Pitt’s latest racing-drama F1 The Movie is showing impressive box office trend in India. The film collected ₹33.75 crore nett in its first week, and the momentum is continuing into the second weekend despite competition. On its second Friday, the film added another ₹3.50 crore nett, taking the total collection close to the ₹37 crore mark.

What’s working in the film’s favour is its strong weekday hold, which even surpassed that of the recent Bollywood release Maa. In fact, F1 The Movie has outperformed Maa both on the weekends and during weekdays, indicating solid word-of-mouth and consistent audience interest.

With a promising second weekend ahead, the Brad Pitt-starrer is likely to go past the ₹40 crore nett mark by Sunday. If the current trend continues, it will comfortably cross ₹50 crore in the coming weekdays — a remarkable feat for a Hollywood standalone release in India.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for Top Gun: Maverick, F1 The Movie dives into the thrilling world of Formula One racing and has clearly struck a chord with Indian audiences. Interestingly, this comes at a time when major franchise films like Mission Impossible 8 and Jurassic World Rebirth are underperforming. Like Final Destination, which recently crossed ₹50 crore against expectations, F1 The Movie is on track to emerge as a surprise box office hit.
