Ground Zero Day One Collections:
Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero, a war action drama starring Emraan Hashmi, released at what seemed like the perfect time. However, it failed to perform well at the box office, which was largely expected. The film had little pre-release buzz and poor advance sales, with around 4,000 tickets sold. The final results on opening day reflect the same trend.
Ground Zero Review: Emraan Hashmi's unpersuasive persona in an otherwise stretched movie
Ground Zero collected approximately ₹1 crore nett on its opening day, indicating a lack of audience interest. While there may be a jump in collections on Saturday and Sunday, the numbers are unlikely to be significant. The opening weekend is expected to be in the ₹4–5 crore nett range, which won't be of much help to the film. Word of mouth will determine its fate from Monday onward, but given the current scenario, it appears that every Bollywood film is suffering due to the absence of audiences.

Ground Zero stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, alongside Lalit Prabhakar, Sai Tamhankar, and Zoya Hussain. The film is competing with Kesari Chapter 2 and Jaat, both of which are performing significantly better and cutting into Ground Zero’s business. Unfortunately, the film doesn’t seem to have the merits to stand up against these two big releases.

In our review, we wrote:
"Emraan Hashmi steps into uncharted territory with Ground Zero, venturing into a role that seeks to redefine his cinematic persona. However, his portrayal of a BSF officer lands with a thud rather than a bang. From the outset, his presence feels miscast, undermining a film that is already weighed down by its overwrought storytelling."
