Do Deewane Seher Mein-Assi Box Office:
It has turned out to be a slow start at the box office for Do Deewane Seher Mein. The romantic drama, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur, opened to a poor total of ₹1.25 crore nett on day one. The number is considered below expectations, especially for a film that was targeting urban youth audiences.
O Romeo Second Friday Collection: Shahid Kapoor Starrer Goes Below ₹2 Crore –
Trade observers believe the film now depends heavily on weekend growth. The movie needs to show a solid jump on Saturday and Sunday to stay in the race. Without strong weekend momentum, the film may struggle to hold screens, as it is not the kind of content that typically sustains well during weekdays.

Meanwhile, the other Friday release Assi, led by Taapsee Pannu, also witnessed a low opening. The hard-hitting drama collected around ₹1 crore nett on Friday. However, in this case, the muted start was largely expected due to the film’s niche appeal and serious subject matter.
Even so, Assi too will need significant growth over the weekend to post respectable numbers. At present, both releases are under pressure to improve their box office trajectory quickly.

Overall, it has been another disappointing Friday for Bollywood, with neither of the new releases managing to generate strong initial footfall. All eyes are now on the weekend trend, which will determine whether these films can recover or continue their underwhelming run.
