The much-awaited trailer of Dhurandhar, directed by filmmaker Aditya Dhar, is finally out. While the promo is gripping and packed with strong performances, it surprisingly gives off more web-series vibes than a traditional big-screen film experience. Watch it below:

The trailer opens with a powerful sequence featuring Arjun Rampal, who dominates the frame with his intense screen presence. His commanding look and towering personality set the tone, making him the standout in the first few seconds. Akshaye Khanna, on the other hand, brings a fierce and unpredictable energy. His wild expressions and sharp dialogue delivery hint at a strong performance that could be one of the film’s biggest highlights. The two have villainous roles it seems.

Sanjay Dutt gets only one dialogue in the promo, which is disappointing. R. Madhavan appears perfectly cast but receives surprisingly low screen time. The same goes for Ranveer Singh, whose limited presence in the trailer raises questions about how significant his role will be in the film, or maybe his role is kept unrevealed for some reasons.

While the cast is undeniably star-studded, the trailer’s overall feel doesn’t scream “big-screen blockbuster.” Its long, layered narrative style and heavy focus on multiple plot threads make it seem more appropriate for a web-series format. This marathon-style storytelling approach may affect the film’s box-office pull if audiences expect a sharper, more cinematic experience. Now it's clear why the film is being divided into two parts.

Still, Dhurandhar has enough intrigue to spark curiosity. The performances look solid, the visuals are polished, and the tone is serious and gripping. Whether it becomes a hit or misses the mark will depend on how the full story unfolds in theatres. For now, all eyes are on its release to see whether it clicks with the audience or not.
