Dhurandhar Screenings Cancelled:

The pre-release situation for Dhurandhar turned unexpectedly chaotic when its media screening was cancelled just an hour before it was meant to begin. The team cited “technical issues” as the reason, but the sudden announcement left journalists surprised and confused.

This wasn’t the first setback of the day. Earlier, a few scheduled shows in Australia and New Zealand were also called off due to the same issue, raising concerns about whether the film was ready for its big showcase. People who booked their tickets got a message about the same and were offered a refund or reschedule as per their convenience.

The embarrassment didn’t stop there. A grand celebrity screening was organised at a premium multiplex in BKC, Mumbai, and several actors and influencers had already walked in for the red carpet. Moments later, they were informed that the screening would not take place. The situation became even more awkward as guests were left waiting and wondering what went wrong.

There are strong indications that the problem lies with the final film prints, especially since IMAX shows are now uncertain too. Overseas cinemas reportedly faced glitches during trial screenings, further adding pressure on the team to fix everything before release day.

Adding to the turbulence, Dhurandhar was initially planned as a standalone film. But then, to everyone's surprise,, the makers split it into two parts just days before release. All these sudden changes and technical troubles have created a sense of unease around the project.

Things definitely haven’t gone smoothly for Dhurandhar so far. But despite this rough start, there’s still hope that the film will deliver a strong experience for the audience and perform well at the box office. Now, all eyes are on tomorrow — when the audience will finally decide the film’s fate.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun. The film releases in cinemas on December 5, 2025.
