Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking Update:

The advance booking response for Dhurandhar 2 has taken the ticket windows by storm, registering a level of excitement that has rarely been seen in recent years. Even before the film’s full-fledged advance booking opened, the paid preview shows alone generated a massive wave of demand among audiences.

Within just a little over 12 hours of opening the paid preview bookings, the film managed to sell around 1.4 lakh tickets, which translated to approximately ₹6.75 crore nett in collections. This remarkable figure suggests that the paid preview shows alone could end up delivering a record-breaking total by the time the advance window closes.

At present, the benchmark for the biggest paid preview collections is held by Stree 2, which had earned about ₹8.75 crore nett from its preview shows. However, given the extraordinary pace at which Dhurandhar 2 tickets are being snapped up, trade analysts believe that the film is well on track to surpass that figure before the end of the advance booking phase. It will surely surpass that number by more than doubled margin maybe triple margin.

A significant portion of the sales has come from the major national multiplex chains, which together accounted for around 92,000 tickets. Interestingly, even 50,000 tickets would have been considered an impressive number for paid previews, making this response even more extraordinary. It's just double than what's needed for record breaking start.

The strong tilt toward national chains can largely be attributed to the premium pricing set for these preview screenings. Audiences at other cinema chains are generally more price-sensitive and may be waiting for the regular advance bookings to open with comparatively lower ticket rates.

Once the full advance booking window opens across all theatres, industry insiders expect ticket sales to accelerate even further, indicating that Dhurandhar 2 could be heading toward a thunderous opening at the box office.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and others. The film is releasing in cinemas on March 19, 2026.
