Indian cinema industry is set for a massive box office showdown on Eid 2026 as two major films lock horns. Ajay Devgn returns with the fourth installment of the popular comedy franchise Dhamaal, promising laughter and nostalgia for fans of the hit series. Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 is expected to bring back the franchise’s signature chaotic humor, ensemble cast, and quirky adventures.

But the comedy giant won’t have the stage to itself. Kannada superstar Yash is set to release his much-anticipated pan-India film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups on the same day. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is being billed as a stylized, dark action fantasy with a unique narrative — a stark contrast to Dhamaal's light-hearted tone.

With two big stars and completely different genres, Eid 2026 promises a cinematic face-off that will keep fans and trade analysts on edge.
