BMC issues a notice to Mithun Chakraborty:

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sent a notice to veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty regarding alleged illegal construction at one of his properties in Mumbai. According to reports, the civic body claims that some parts of the construction were done without proper permissions.

Mithun Chakraborty's illegal construction in Malad:

Officials visited the site in Mumbai's Malad area after receiving a complaint and found that certain modifications and extensions may have violated municipal rules. The notice was issued under relevant sections of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act [Section 351(1A) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act]. Mithun Chakraborty or his representatives have been asked to respond to the notice and provide necessary documents to prove that the construction is legal.

Sources suggest that if the Entertainment actor fails to reply within the given time, the BMC might take further action, which could include demolition of the unauthorized portions.

Mithun Chakraborty, a popular Bollywood actor and a Member of Parliament from the Rajya Sabha representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has not yet made a public statement about the issue.
