Bhushan Kumar Calls Border 2 Organic Hit:

At the success press meet of Border 2, producer Bhushan Kumar addressed ongoing discussions around box office reporting and advance bookings, calling the film an “organic hit.”

Without naming anyone, Bhushan Kumar spoke about the debate surrounding inflated numbers and corporate bookings in the industry. He said, “Everybody has their own perspective about how they want to announce films and box office numbers, but some things should not happen and wrong numbers are told. I don’t want to comment more on this.”

He further revealed that Sunny Deol had a clear stand even before the film’s release. According to Bhushan, during the advance booking phase, Sunny told him that they should declare only genuine figures. “Sunny Deol told me we should declare normal numbers because we keep hearing how people are buying tickets and doing other such things to promote their film, but we never even think of indulging in such activities,” he shared.

Bhushan added that he assured the actor that Border 2 would go “full organic.” He said, “I answered Sunny Deol that we are going full organic, our advances are organic. And these things always come out, if you do anything fishy, the audience gets to know, so I’m very happy that we have shown real numbers for our film.”

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty Diljit Dosanjh, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana. The film is running in cinemas near you and is now heading towards 500 crore worldwide gross.
