Avengers Doomsday Wrapped:
Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero flick Avengers Doomsday, starring Robert Downey Jr., has finished filming after a long time in production. The shooting is now wrapped, with updates from multiple crew members confirming the milestone via behind-the-scenes selfies, wrap gifts, and exclusive set-merchandise featuring the film’s logo and artwork of Doctor Doom.
Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, Avengers Doomsday is part of Marvel’s Phase 6 and will feature Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Doctor Doom, a shift from his previous role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. The film’s ensemble cast also includes characters from the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Avengers, and others.
Now that principal photography is done, the film moves into post-production. That means editing, visual effects, sound design, and possibly additional photography or reshoots are expected. Avengers Doomsday is set for a theatrical release on December 18, 2026. Will this bring Marvel back in game after back to back underperforming films?
