A serious road accident in Juhu on Monday night involving a vehicle from Akshay Kumar’s security convoy has left an auto-rickshaw driver critically injured and his vehicle completely destroyed, prompting his brother to make a public appeal for proper medical care and compensation.

According to police and eyewitness accounts, the chain collision occurred between 8:00 and 8:30 pm near Mukteshwar Road, Juhu, when a speeding Mercedes rammed into an Innova that was part of the actor’s security entourage. The impact caused the Innova to crash into the auto-rickshaw ahead of it, crushing the three-wheeler and trapping the driver along with a passenger underneath. Both were eventually rescued by bystanders and emergency teams before being rushed to hospital.

The auto-rickshaw driver’s brother, Mohammed Sameer, told ANI that his sibling remains in a very serious condition and the rickshaw was completely destroyed in the collision. He appealed to authorities and the actor’s camp, saying, “Our only request is that my brother gets proper medical treatment and compensation for the damaged rickshaw — we don’t want anything else.”

Sameer also revealed that his family lacked the means to afford extensive care and asked for support with the mounting hospital expenses. While police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes driver involved, Akshay Kumar has not yet issued a public statement regarding the accident or the family’s compensation request.
