Over the weekend, Neha shared an Instagram story announcing that she was taking a break from “responsibilities, relationships, work and everything I can think of right now,” hinting that she might step away from the spotlight for an unspecified period.

The message was later deleted, but not before fans and media began questioning the stability of her marriage to fellow singer Rohanpreet Singh. The sudden announcement triggered a flurry of divorce rumours online, with social media users and entertainment accounts interpreting her vague wording as a sign of trouble in her personal life. However, Neha quickly moved to clarify the situation in a follow-up Instagram post. See it below:

“Guys plz don’t drag my innocent husband or my sweetest family in all this plz! They are the purest people I know and whatever I am today, it’s because of their support,” she wrote, urging fans and critics alike to keep her loved ones out of the speculation. 

Neha admitted that emotions had gotten the better of her on social media and acknowledged that her initial post had been interpreted in ways she had not intended. She wrote that her frustration was directed at “a few other people and the system,” not at her family or husband, adding jokingly that she’s “too emotional for this world.”
