EXCLUSIVE: "I believe in celebrating life at any age" – Ashish Vidyarthi Opens Up About Marriage, Personal Life & Trolls

Speaking about his versatility and the prospect of taking on intense antagonist roles opposite today's younger stars, Ashish said, "Absolutely, I’ve played a wide spectrum of roles—from intense, menacing characters to deeply grounded ones. But for me, acting has never been about playing against someone. It’s about embodying a character with honesty, regardless of who is across from me. Over the years, from Drohkaal to Major Saab, from Telugu blockbusters to recent titles like Khufiya and Trial by Fire, I’ve always focused on creating roles that are believable and impactful. So yes, I’m very much excited to continue playing fierce, layered roles—whether opposite emerging talents or seasoned actors. There are still many characters within me, waiting to find their voice."

A new wave of fans has also discovered Ashish through his lively digital presence, especially his travel and food vlogs. Detailing how it all began, he said, "My transition to digital storytelling was organic—it wasn’t planned. Post-COVID, I stumbled into vlogging, almost by accident. A young colleague, Swapnil, nudged me to create my first reel, and that opened a new world. From then on, the journey just took off. Whether it’s food, travel, or life musings, I love exploring and sharing stories. My YouTube and social media presence became a way to express myself beyond cinema. I’m grateful for collaborators like Divya and the magic of picking up a GoPro and letting life unfold on camera. It’s been fulfilling to connect with people in this new, intimate way."

It threw me into a reality format, something I never imagined myself doing. It took me out of my comfort zone and challenged me in new ways. And to my own surprise, I loved it. It showed me that even at this stage in life, I can take on new challenges, learn, adapt, and enjoy myself. I’m proud to have been part of it, and it’s helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect."
