Amitabh Bachchan recently shared behind-the-scenes moments from Hyderabad, revealing he skipped his customary Sunday fan meet to continue shooting for the sequel. In his blog, the veteran star expressed excitement about working again with Kamal Haasan, noting that their last collaboration was the 1985 filmGiraftar. "And meeting up with the great KAMAL HAASAN. we shall be working together after ages, last in Giraftar," wrote Amitabh Bachchan.

Photos from the set show the two cinema icons warmly embracing, sending fans into a frenzy online. Interestingly, although both actors featured in the first installment of Kalki 2898 AD, they did not share screen space. The sequel is expected to change that, with Kamal Haasan’s character set to play a much more prominent role.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2 continues to build massive anticipation with its star-studded lineup that includes Prabhas alongside the two veterans. Reports confirm that the sequel is currently in active production and remains one of the most awaited Indian films in the pipeline.
