After multiple setbacks surrounding Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar’s highly anticipated comedy Welcome To The Jungle—popularly referred to as Welcome 3—is now facing serious completion hurdles of its own.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film has been plagued by repeated delays and cancellations that have disrupted the shoot schedule and left the actors in a state of uncertainty. "Around 2 to 3 schedules of Welcome To The Jungle have been cancelled over the last 6 months, leaving the actors and their team confused about the prospects. The actors have been allotting dates for the shoot of Welcome To The Jungle to producer Firoz Nadiadwala, and the same stands cancelled at the last minute due to logistical and financial issues. The last-minute cancellation in shoot has resulted in the actors sitting at home in the aforementioned period," revealed a source told the portal.

The film has reportedly been in production for over a year and a half, with no clear sign of wrapping up. Adding to the complications, there have also been issues of non-payment of dues to actors and crew members. As per the same source, “Some of the originally cast actors have left the film, and the remaining are still lending their support for the love of the franchise. They all believe that Welcome is a loved franchise, and are willing to adjust their dates to finish Welcome To The Jungle."

The film, touted as a massive ensemble entertainer, continues to remain in limbo as fans eagerly await updates.

Previously, director Ahmed Khan had confirmed that the film is not shelved and is on track. "There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track, and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally in October, for which my technical team has already left for the first recce," he told the media.
