Akshay Kumar-Saif Ali Khan team up for Haiwaan:
Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are reuniting on-screen for a new thriller. The film is reportedly a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit Oppam, and will be directed by none other than Priyadarshan, who also helmed the original. The film has now got the title – Haiwaan.

The makers have locked the title Haiwaan after considering several options. According to sources, the team unanimously felt that Haiwaan captures the core of the story perfectly. “It’s an edge-of-the-seat thriller, and the title reflects exactly how Priyadarshan envisions the film,” a source told Hindustan Times.
While the original Oppam starred Mohanlal as a blind man with a strong sense of hearing and smell who gets tangled in a murder case, it's yet to be revealed which roles Akshay and Saif will play. But knowing their experience and range, audiences are already excited to see them dive into such intense characters. The two have been hugely popular for their bromance in Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994).

Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar have a long and successful history, especially with comedy films, but Haiwaan will showcase a darker, more gripping side of their collaboration. With Saif also in the mix, expectations are high. Priyadarshan and Akshay have recently wrapped a fantasy horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla.
Shooting is expected to begin soon, and fans of both actors can look forward to a film that promises suspense, drama, and some powerhouse performances. But before that, let us know how do you like to title.
