Akshay Kumar On Rakshabandhan ‘It’s The Quickest I Have Signed A Film’

Akshay Kumar has joined forced with director Aanand L Rai,of Tanu Weds Manu fame for a film titled Raksha Bandhan, and the team announced the film on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan.

As he shared the first poster of the movie Akshay dedicated it to his sister Alka and also wrote that it was the quickest he had signed a movie. The actor wrote, “A story that touches your heart so deeply & so instantly,it’s the quickest I’ve signed a film in my career.Dedicating this film,#RakshaBandhan to my sister,Alka & to the most special bond in the world…that of a brother and sister.Thank you @aanandlrai,this one is very special.”

Raksha Bandhan marks Akshay’s second collaboration with Aanand L Rai, who is also directing his upcoming movie Atrangi Re, which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.

Raksha Bandhan will go on floors next and is being co-produced by Rai and Kumar.
