Akshay Kumar Presents Bhumi Pednekar In And As ‘Durgavati’!

After delivering both box-office and critical hit with ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar will once again be seen sharing screen space in a scary thriller, titled Durgavati. Bhumi will be seen playing the titular role in the film, which is all set to go on floors from mid January 2020.

Akshay Kumar on his social media made the announcement today, by posting a picture of the film’s team, where Bhumi is seen surrounded by all the men of the film. Bhumi is seen a wearing a sari, sitting on a chair and holding a placard reading “hero”, looking elegant as ever. She is seen surrounded by four men including Akshay, who is holding a placard that reads “Presenter”. Akshay sharing the picture wrote,

An Excited Bhumi also took to her Instagram to share the news, stating how she has been waiting for long to share the news about the film with her fans. She shared the same picture with a caption that reads,

“I have waited so long to share this one with you. So excited to announce my next film #DURGAVATI. A scary-thriller going on floor mid-January. Thank you @akshaykumar sir for your constant belief in me. I am so excited for this one @bhushankumar @ivikramix . Can’t wait to collaborate with you Ashok sir. This one comes with great responsibility. Need all your blessings.”

The film is directed by director Ashok; and co produced by T-series, Cape Of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment.

Meanwhile Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Good Newwz with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. The film will release on December 27. After which he will be seen in Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Bachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom.

Whereas Bhumi will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. The film will hit the screens on December 6.
