Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar revealed his thoughts on criticism and fans’ reactions to his movies and the choices he has made recently. While speaking with Zee Music, the Kesari Chapter 2 actor mentioned that criticism hurts sometimes, but he never dismisses it.

"The audience is the true authority because they pay for the entire experience. When they applaud for me, it serves as motivation; when they criticize, I learn from it as well. I always want to evolve my work. If I receive genuine feedback, I never ignore it, whether it's about script choices or role selection. There have been several occasions when people have said, ‘Kuch alag karo,’ prompting me to experiment with different movies. Criticism hurts at times, but when it comes from the heart, it only makes you better," said Akshay Kumar.

He emphasized that he believes the audience holds true power, as they pay for the entire experience. He explained that their applause serves as a strong motivation for him, while their criticism provides valuable lessons. Akshay shared that he constantly strives to grow and improve in his craft and never dismisses sincere feedback, whether regarding the scripts he chooses or the roles he accepts. He recalled many instances when people encouraged him to try something different, which led him to explore various types of films. While he acknowledged that criticism can be painful at times, he also recognized that heartfelt feedback contributes to his growth as an artist. Kumar highlighted his commitment to evolving and staying in tune with the audience's desires.
