Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's previous collaborations have turned out to be game changers for Bollywood. They worked together for 3 Idiots (2009), which was the record breaking success and has gained a status of a modern classic. They again worked together in PK (2014), which went on to become the first Bollywood movie to cross 300 crore nett at the domestic box office. Now, as per a report in Pinkvilla, they are set to collaborate for the third time. Isn't that exciting?

"Rajkummar Hirani was toying with 3 ideas, and he has finally decided to move ahead with a subject. He discussed the same with Aamir Khan, and the actor has also loved the world that Raju is developing. The two have principally agreed on the film, with the intent to take it on floors in 2026. The yet-untitled will be Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial after Dunki" a source told the media portal.

The report further adds that things are moving faster in the right direction. "It’s a slice-of-life film, with comedy and elements of inspiration. Aamir is kicked about the subject, as it also pushes the actor in him. The other details are kept under wraps. The film is in the forefront, and the final call will be taken soon."
