EXCLUSIVE: "TERA BAAP, HINDUSTAN line was added by Amar Kaushik in Sky Force," reveals writer Aamil Keeyan Khan —
Aamil Keeyan Khan, who served as one of the writers for Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, reveals the secret behind the viral dialogue "Tera Baap, Hindustan" (Movie Talkies).
Sky Force writer Aamil Keeyan Khan on viral dialogue:
One dialogue from Sky Force is going viral on the internet and winning huge applause in cinema halls during screenings. The audience is whistling and shouting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" after hearing the dialogue. In that specific scene, the Indian Air Force attacks Pakistan's most secure air base, and when the Pakistani commander asks the guests, "Who's there?" (Kon janaab?), Akshay Kumar, aka Ahuja, replies, "TERA BAAP, HINDUSTAN!" Pure GOOSEBUMPS!
Amar Kaushik added the dialogue in Sky Force:
Since this short line is going viral from the film, we couldn't resist asking one of the writers, Aamil Keeyan Khan, about it. He made am interesting revelation that this dialogue wasn't in the script, but was later added during the dubbing session by none other than Amar Kaushik!
What Aamil Keeyan Khan said:
When asked, "The Tera Baap, Hindustan dialogue is going viral. How did it come about, and what was the thought process while writing it?" Aamil answered, "I'll tell you a fun trivia—this line wasn’t even in the original script, so we can’t take credit for it. It was a brilliant improvisation by Amar Kaushik sir, and if it struck a chord with so many people, the compliments should go straight to him."
He added, "It wasn’t planned; it was instinct. Amar sir saw an opportunity to elevate the scene, and he improvised this during the dub (if my memory serves me right). It’s raw, it’s powerful, and it embodies the unshakable pride of Hindustan. Sometimes, it’s these unscripted moments that leave the deepest impact, and this is one of those rare gems."
