Sky Force Review Movie Talkies:

Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur team up with Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya for an aerial action drama based on true events from the 60s and 70s era. Sky Force is titled after the mission called "Sky Force," led by Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja (a fictional name), but the real story begins only after the mission.

Sky Force

The film is rich in emotions and patriotism, and these two factors are enough to satisfy viewers at the cinema hall. What's more? The audience will leave the auditorium with tears in their eyes and sentiments in their hearts. Sky Force may be the story of one unsung hero, but it's a grand tribute to all those unsung heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the nation but never received the credit they deserved.

Sky Force

The film tells the story of Wing Commander Mr. Ahuja (played by Akshay Kumar) and his brother-like favorite pilot, Tabby, aka TK. Vijaya (played by Veer Pahariya). Set amidst the 1965 war, the film explores the Indian Air Force's mission, Sky Force, aimed at destroying the Pakistani Air Force's super-advanced Star-strikers, borrowed from America. The IAF achieves success, but at what cost? Tabby goes missing for years while Ahuja tries to find his whereabouts.

Sky Force

Penned by Sandeep Kewlani, Aamil Keeyan Khan, Carl Austin, and Niren Bhatt, Sky Force appears realistic and features a gripping narrative that doesn't bore you at all. The first half is filled with action-packed scenes, aerial combat, war conversations, and a few songs, and then the second half kicks off with a grand action sequence, followed by a lot of drama before reaching the highly emotional climax.

Sky Force

Akshay Kumar plays his role with conviction, and he has put visible effort into the action scenes. The dramatic portions also feel warm and heart-touching. Veer Pahariya debuts on a decent note, and he ends up being the actual hero of the story, even though he doesn't have the lead role. Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur haven’t had much to do, but they were decent and watchable. Sharad Kelkar, Manish Chaudhary, Mohit Chauhan, and the rest of the supporting cast provided strong support to Akshay and Veer.

Sky Force

The cinematography and visual effects play a big role in making Sky Force a perfect cinematic experience that should be enjoyed on the big screen. The aerial action sequences, explosions, circular shots, top views, and slow-motion cuts with fast-paced motion will blow you away. The editing is sharp, except for some dragged songs and scenes in the second half. However, the film picks up really well after that until it makes you cry with its heart-touching climax.

Sky Force

Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur have received superb support from the production teams, Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Leo Films (Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik). The production design contributes to a cinematic grandeur with a realistic touch. The aircraft, the air station, borders, ammunition, tanks, and the premises are well captured and well created. Kewlani and Kapur's pairing creates a solid entertainer with heart in the right place. With the patriotic season, like Republic Day, approaching soon, it couldn’t get better than to enjoy this patriotic drama on the big screen. Go and watch Sky Force, which flies high with the colors of patriotism and nationalism.
