120 Bahadur Box Office Update:

Farhan Akhtar’s latest release, 120 Bahadur, has unfortunately joined the list of his recent box office disappointments. The film showed little promise right from the opening weekend and has failed to pick up momentum in the days after.

Mastiii 4 Box Office Update: A Huge Disaster; Lowest Grosser In The Masti Franchise –

With a first-week collection of around ₹13 crore nett, and just ₹2 crore nett added during the second weekend, the total stands at a modest ₹15 crore nett. These numbers are far below what was expected from a star like Farhan, making 120 Bahadur another flop in his career.

It has been more than a decade since Farhan delivered a clean theatrical hit. His last Hit remains the 2013 sports drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which had earned him both appreciation and box office glory. Since then, things haven’t really worked in his favor. Films like The Sky Is Pink, Lucknow Central, The Fakir Of Venice, Daddy, and Rock On 2 failed to connect with the audience. With 120 Bahadur also falling short of expectations, the count of consecutive flops rises to six, if we exclude Toofan, which had a direct OTT premiere.

Fans and industry insiders believe that Farhan needs to be more selective with the scripts he chooses going forward. He has always been praised for his talent, versatility, and passion for filmmaking. A strong and impactful role—something on the lines of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag—could help him regain box office success and re-establish his position as a bankable star. For now, 120 Bahadur adds another dull chapter to his filmography, and all eyes will be on what Farhan Akhtar signs next.

In our review of 120 Bahadur, we wrote:

Farhan Akhtar returns to the big screen after a long gap and picks a patriotic drama that certainly has emotional weight. The intent behind 120 Bahadur is noble, and the film highlights a chapter of Indian military bravery that deserves recognition. But the problem is that the war-action genre has already reached extraordinary heights over the years. Several scenes appear inspired by well-known moments from older films, which may leave viewers feeling less engaged. Still, the film finds its emotional strength in the final 20 minutes and manages to close on a respectable, heartfelt note.
