Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-In Short: A curse hounds the family of feudal lords and the last heir is the next target…

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Verdict: Loosely inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's 'The Hound Of Baskervilles', Bees Saal Baad is an engaging suspense thriller

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Story Plot: When a vengeful spirit allegedly kills his uncle, Kumar Vijay Singh (Biswajeet) is summoned back from London to take care of the family affairs in Chandangad. On returning back to take his place as the heir to a feudal family, Singh learns that the family is suffering from a curse after his uncle tried to rape a village girl, who got killed subsequently. As a result of the curse, the members of the family are killed one after they are lured to an isolated spot by the haunting voice of a woman.

Even as Singh promises to get to the bottom of this mystery, he meets and falls in love with the playful Radha (Waheeda Rehman), the niece of a local village doctor Ramlal (Manmohan Krishnan). Though his love life seems smooth enough, the plot about the murdered thickens, as there are too many suspects around-from a sinister servant Laxman (Dev Kishan) to a cagey doctor Pandey (Madan Puri) to a mysterious cripple (Sajjan). Last but not the least, there is a bumbling detective Gopichand (Asit Sen)

Many twists and turns later, Singh and Radha manage to unmask the killer. Who is he and what's his motive? To find out, watch the movie.

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Performances: Though Biswajeet is the protagonist of the movie, it is Waheeda Rehman, who manages to create an impact with her performance. Other actors like Madan Puri, Sajjan and Dev Kishan too perform well enough.

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Direction: Like mentioned earlier, the film is loosely based on the Sherlock Holmes story 'The Hound Of Baskervilles' and just like Arthur Conan Doyle, director Biren Naug weaves an engaging tale. Nag's talents lie in creating the kind of mystery where every other character seems like a suspect and it is difficult to guess the killer's identity. However, on the flip side, the love story between Singh and Radha tends to take the focus off the murder mystery. Nevertheless, all said and done, Bees Saal Baad is worth a watch.

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Music: From the romantic bekarar karke hume to the haunting kahi deep jale, kahi dil to the playful zara nazron se keh do ji, the music of the movie is pleasing to the ears.

Bees Saal Baad Movie Review-Final Word: For fans of the suspense genre, Bees Saal Baad is a treat for sure…
