Sajid Khan, who is Farah Khan's brother and maternal cousin of Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, started out his career as a talk show host. Having garnered immense popularity as a television presenter, Sajid moved on to hosting award shows.
He started his directing career with Darna Zaroori Hai and made his full-fledged debut with Heyy Babyy, which became hugely successful at the box-office.
He next made Housefull and Housefull 2, which again garnered great numbers at the box-office. Known to be outspoken, Sajid has faced quite a lot of criticism for some of the things that he has said.
Having made three big films with Akshay Kumar, Sajid moved on to remaking the Jeetendra-Sridevi starrer, Himmatwala, into his own 'Himmatwala', starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film released in March 2013.
