This iconic chapter has now been brought alive once again through the grand trailer launch of the Marathi film Ranpati Shivray Swari Agra.

The trailer unveiling ceremony turned into a tribute to Shivaji Maharaj, featuring traditional Shiv Vandana and powerful powada performances by Shivshahirs, which added to the emotional and cultural fervour of the event.

Reflecting the evolving scale of Marathi cinema, the film’s promotion also introduced an innovative concept—an AI-powered chatbot based on the character of Bahirji Naik, famously known as the “third eye” of Shivaji Maharaj. This chatbot allows users to interact with the historical character and receive answers in multiple languages within seconds, marking a proud technological milestone for Marathi cinema and Shivaji Maharaj’s admirers.

The trailer offers glimpses of how Shivaji Maharaj tactfully navigated betrayal, strict surveillance, and overwhelming odds during the Agra episode. Produced by Panorama Studios and Mugafi, and written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar, Ranpati Shivray Swari Agra is set for a theatrical release on January 30.
