Kartik Aaryan congratulates Muralikant Petkar
Kartik Aaryan played the role of Paralympic champion Muralikant Petkar in Kabir Khan's Chandu Champion. In the film, Petkar is seeking the Arjuna Award and is unhappy about not receiving it for so many years. He is fighting the government for it, and finally, he has received it in "real life." The reel-life Chandu Champion, aka Kartik Aaryan, attended the ceremony and congratulated the legendary athlete with a social media post. Watch it below:
Kartik wrote:
"From living your incredible life on the big screen to witnessing you receive the Arjuna Lifetime Achievement Award at Rashtrapati Bhawan today, it felt surreal. Every moment was like a dream. Now our film #ChanduChampion seems to have found its perfect ending (it started with you fighting for the Arjuna Award), but knowing you, an unstoppable champion, this can't be the climax... Keep inspiring, Sir. I feel so proud to be present in this moment framed in history with you and the Honourable President of India 🇮🇳🙏🏻 Salute to you, and congratulations to all the Arjuna awardees ❤"
