Kesari Veer Review Movie Talkies:

Suniel Shetty is back with a bang! The OG action star returns with a larger-than-life character in a heartfelt project that revisits a significant chapter from our history. Sooraj Pancholi also returns to the mainstream cinema with a passionate role. Kesari Veer, true to its name, narrates a veer-gatha of our bravehearts—deserving to be watched both for its historical value and Suniel Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi's earnest performances.

Kesari Veer

The film thrives on action and spiritual fervor that seeks to strike a chord with audiences. Yet, it remains confined within settings that prevent it from rising beyond a certain mark. The story holds immense potential, but the screenplay restrains it within familiar tropes. Some Baahubali- and Chhaava-like moments are recreated decently, yet they lack the same time-defying impact.

Kesari Veer

Kesari Veer is a historical epic that revives the inspiring tale of Hamirji Gohil, a fearless Rajput warrior who bravely faced the Tughlaq Empire. His indomitable spirit and sacrifice were aimed at protecting the sacred Somnath Temple and upholding the ethos of the Hindu faith amidst tyranny.

Kesari Veer Cast:

Suniel Shetty delivers a superb performance, and his massy image plays a big role in making everything look bigger and convincing. The scene where he lifts the Shiva Linga echoes Prabhas in Rajamouli’s magnum opus. The more you see this man in action, the more want to see him. His honest portrayal anchors the film and helps sustain viewer engagement.

Sooraj Pancholi makes a return to mainstream cinema and seems to have given his all to this role. It’s a character of legend—comparable, within his range, to Vicky Kaushal's recent sensation Chhaava. His honest portrayal anchors the film and helps sustain viewer engagement.

Kesari Veer

Vivek Oberoi, did pretty decent but didn't quite meet the expectations tied to his stature. Akanksha Sharma looks beautiful—her presence better suited for Instagram reels—but her dialogues, delivery, and expressions fall flat. The supporting cast adds a decent support in small-small roles.

Kesari Veer Movie Review:

Kesari Veer falters technically. With stronger support from the tech team, it could’ve evolved into a far better cinematic experience. The music and background score are underwhelming, while the cinematography lacks any remarkable frame. Sound design and production value do not rise to the magnitude of the tale. Thankfully, the action blocks are more impressive, offering fair entertainment and working well on the big screen.

Kesari Veer

Writers Kanubhai Chauhan and Shitiz Srivastava have brought forth a story that needs telling—especially for Indians with spiritual beliefs or a religious mindset. It is the age-old triumph of good over evil, even when evil appears stronger. Unfortunately, the screenplay and narrative could’ve used more refinement. Prince Dhiman and Kanubhai Chauhan’s vision lacks consistency. All said, Kesari Veer is a grand tale of heroism that deserves to be celebrated today. Go relive this slice of history on the big screen.
