Chhaava Review Movie Talkies:

After directing two successful romantic comedies with Maddock, Laxman Utekar teams up with the majestic production house for a larger-than-life historical action epic drama, Chhaava. As expected, it's large, it's epic, and it's highly dramatic, culminating in a blockbuster cinematic experience that should be enjoyed on the big screen. It's an action spectacle that cannot be missed by fans of mass and action cinema.

Chhaava

Based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the film features Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Maharani Yesubai. After the death of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Mughals are trying to take over the Maharashtra and Dakkhan regions, but they are unaware that the Lion may be dead, yet his Chhaava is still alive to hunt them down.

Chhaava

Mughal chief Aurangzeb (Akshaye Khanna) uses all the dirty tricks to conquer Maharashtra, but loses against Chhatrapati Sambhaji. In response, he torments the innocent people, and with the help of a stool pigeon, he manages to capture Sambhaji Raje alive. Will this mark the end of the Maratha reign?

Chhaava

Chhaava is an action-packed entertainer that is front-loaded, but towards the end, it becomes emotionally heavy. It transforms into a heart-wrenching tale that will leave you in tears while filling your heart with a sense of pride. This movie will make you respect the great Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj more than ever before. You will cry and salute his sacrifices. There will be pin-drop silence when you leave the auditorium. There is plenty of action that makes for a perfect cinematic experience on the big screen. The visuals are mind-blowing, and the dialogues will receive a lot of whistling and clapping. The music works well with the situations, and the lyrics are all suitable. We have fantastic cinematography, sound design, and a background score to elevate your viewing experience.

Chhaava

Vicky Kaushal has done a terrific job in the lead role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. His expressions, dialogue delivery, and especially that speech in the climax will stay with you for a long time. This is surely an award-worthy performance. Rashmika Mandanna looked gorgeous in traditional attire but struggles with her accent. Akshaye Khanna surprises with his deadly look, and he lives up to the deadliness as a villain here. You will hate Aurangzeb throughout the film because he makes him look so cruel at times. However, his dialogues will earn big applause. Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh, Santosh Juvekar, Pradeep Rawat, Suvrat Joshi, Neil Bhoopalam, Rohit Pathak, and others have performed well in supporting roles.

Chhaava

After watching Chhaava, it's safe to say that Maddock Films is set for another huge blockbuster. Laxman Utekar has delivered a king-size spectacle with heart in the right place. This is, by far, his best Hindi film ever, and it will receive its due in the coming days. There will be no stopping this roaring cinematic spectacle at the box office. Let us all scream loud and clear: Har har Mahadev! Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji, Jai Sambhaji!
