Zero Se Restart and Heretic Box Office Collections:
Vidhu Vinod Chopra brought a behind-the-scenes story to cinemas with Zero Se Restart, only to face disastrous results. The film, which had no chance against the Pushpa 2 storm, was completely rejected by audiences on opening day. VVC's prequel to his last hit, 12th Fail, hardly saw any audience members come and fill the seats, confirming its washout status.
Zero Se Restart was released in selected cinemas, as exhibitors and cinema owners didn't want to lose screens that were successfully running Pushpa 2. The movie collected approximately 5 lakhs on its first day, and there seems to be no way this BTS film can find any relief from here. It's a clean DISASTER! It appears that the film will not even reach 1 crore nett figures during its lifetime run with such a low start.
On the other hand, PVRInox dumped the Hollywood horror flick Heretic without creating any awareness and with a poor promotional campaign. The film is available on the internet, so it was expected to flop badly, and that's exactly what happened on day one. The Hugh Grant-starrer garnered approximately 15 lakhs at the box office on its first day, confirming its "DISASTER" verdict. It will have to struggle a lot to cross the 1 crore nett mark over the weekend. In short, we have two big DISASTERS this Friday, while Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 is doing record-breaking business in the Hindi markets.
