The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer opened with a fantastic total of Rs. 1.15 crore nett on Friday and showed a significant jump on Saturday. The second-day figures for the film were Rs. 2.25 crore, followed by Rs. 2.85 crore on Sunday. On Monday, the film created history by scoring a higher figure than its opening day, which rarely happens with re-releases or even new releases.

YJHD collected a superb total of Rs. 1.50 crore nett, which was much higher than the opening day collections of the film. The film is setting new highs for re-releases. Videos of fans celebrating iconic scenes and chart-topping numbers during the screening are going viral on social media platforms, indicating the legacy of this iconic youth romance.
