Year Ender 2023: Bollywood movies have seen records this year, which largely includes opening day records as well. 2023 gave us the first ever 55 crore and 60 crore nett opening days in Bollywood.

It all started with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan in January, as the film broke the previous record of War (2019) on the opening day. Then again, SRK broke his own record with Jawan in September, and it remains unbeaten as we move ahead in 2024.

We have brought a list of the top 10 opening day collections in Bollywood in 2023, and as you can see, Shah Rukh Khan owns the top 2 positions and also the most number of movies in the top 10 with 3 movies to his name. Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have two films each, while Sunny Deol, Prabhas, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi, and John Abraham have one movie each.
