WOW! It's A Record For Katrina Kaif And Sidharth Malhotra's 'Kala Chashma'

The current chartbuster Kala Chashma from Baar Baar Dekho is creating quite a stir. Besides taking the internet by storm (it has clocked in over 47 million views already on YouTube), it has sparked a massive viral dance phenomenon called the #KalaChashmaChallenge that has taken over the world.

The lead actors of Baar Baar Dekho - Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif performed live to the hit Bollywood track, Kala Chasma, on CNN International’s flagship programme Quest Means Business in New York, performing to 350mn + viewers worldwide. This could possibly be the first instance that two major Bollywood stars have performed live to a Bollywood track on a US news network as part of their film promotion.

In fact, such has been the craze for this track globally, that it was even played for the Indian hockey team at the Olympic Games in Rio.

The trailer and the promos of the film seem to have caught everyone's fancy and all eyes are now on the date of 9th September, 2016 which is when the film releases. The film is directed by Nitya Mehra and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar.
