Wonka box office: Paul King's musical fantasy, Wonka, is spreading sweetness at the ticket windows. The film has had another good weekend at the box office despite competition and emerged as a top film on the New Year Weekend.
Wonka claimed the top position this weekend with $23.9 million over the traditional weekend and $31 million including New Year's weekend. With a production cost of $125 million, the musical fantasy led by Timothée Chalamet has turned out to be a commercial SUCCESS at the box office.
