In a shocking case from Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, a 26-year-old woman has accused her husband and in-laws of harassment, alleging they forced her to maintain a figure like Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi.

According to the complaint filed with the police, the woman said her husband made her spend nearly three hours daily in the gym to achieve the actress’s physique. She further alleged that she was denied food whenever she failed to follow his demands and was constantly body-shamed.

The victim claimed that the harassment did not stop at unrealistic physical expectations. She also accused her in-laws of dowry-related abuse and revealed that she suffered a forced miscarriage as a result of the continued torture. The complaint states that the pressure to conform to the husband’s demands severely impacted her health and emotional well-being. According to the woman, her parents spent over ₹70 Lakhs for her marriage.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and the Dowry Prohibition Act. Investigations are underway, and authorities said strict action will be taken based on the evidence gathered.
