The credit for this one should really go to Leena Yadav, debutant film director. For her maiden film, 'Teen Patti', she not only managed to rope in Amitabh Bachchan, fondly called Big B, but also managed to get the other B, Sir Ben Kingsley to make a special appearance.
Apparently, for the film's shoot in London, the director wanted shots of the prestigious Cambridge University. But it was no easy task trying to get permission to shot on the varsity's premises. But this is where the presence of the two Bs really made a difference. According to reports, Sir Ben, more famous in India for bringing the Mahatma alive in Richard Attenborough's 'Gandhi', first stepped into smoothen matters for the filmmaker. It seems that once the University authorities realized that Big B would be shooting along with Sir Ben, they were more than happy to comply with the request. Yadav was given permission to shoot for an entire day in Cambridge. Sir Ben is popular in Britain, but our own Big B is not the 'Star of the Millennium' for nothing. His popularity is unmatched in most parts of the world. Of course, it will be a treat to watch out for, when the two giants from the acting world come together on screen. But for that, we will have to wait for the film's release. Incidentally, Yadav is not the only one making her debut with the movie 'Teen Patti', which also stars Madhavan, the film also, has four newcomers in major roles, one of them being screen villain Shakti Kapoor's daughter.
