Sharmila Tagore was one of the few actresses who dared to wear a bikini in the 1960’s. Now it seems Soha Ali Khan wanted to follow mommy dearest’s footsteps.

Soha recently shot for a magazine cover in a bikini. For most actresses it becomes a matter of taboo, as they fear the reactions from their families. However for Soha family approval was never an issue.

Says Soha, ''It is not the first time I have worn a taboo in front of a camera. I had done it 8 years back as well. It was a big issue in my mother’s era not anymore. Saif picked up the magazine and exclaimed that it looked hot without realizing it was me on the cover. Nevertheless he was very supportive of me wearing a bikini.''

It is to be known had it been wifey Kareena Kapoor Khan wearing a bikini, would Saif Ali Khan be equally supportive?
