Nafisa Ali's son Ajit Sodi is all set to mark his Bollywood debut with J.P Dutta’s Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le and though today he feels that he wouldn't have been able to act without his mother's support, when he was a child he used to get nightmares because of one of his mom's films.
As a child Ajit saw Nafisa's film Aatank and he got terrified seeing it. Reminiscing the old memories Sodi says, ''It is a memory that makes me laugh now but had me terrified back then is of my mom being eaten by a shark in Aatank (1996). It gave me nightmares because I couldn't understand how after that, she could’ve been standing right there!''
While Ajit had a great time shooting for Jee Bhar Ke Jee Le, the actor confesses that he couldn’t have done it without his mother’s support. He adds, ''She’s my critic and she doesn’t hold back in giving me advice on my acting. And, when it’s constructive criticism, it only helps you grow. I’ve learned a lot from her.''
Directed by Binoy Gandhi, JBKJL will also mark the debut of Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta.
