The singer labeled Virat Kohli a joker because the cricketer had liked the glamorous pictures of model and actress Avneet Kaur and blamed Instagram's algorithm for it. Vaidya was slammed by VK fans, and then he referred to the fans as even bigger jokers than Virat Kohli. Now, Kohli's brother has reacted to Vaidya's comments strongly.

Commenting on Vaidya's remarks, Virat's brother Vikas wrote on Threads, "Bache, itni mehnat agar apni singing pe kar le to shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaaye… While the whole nation is focused on the current situation, this idiot is on a mission to gain followers and become famous by taking Virat’s name… WHAT A LOSER."

Earlier, Vaidya shared a video about this Virat Kohli incident, saying, "Main kehna chahta hoon ki aaj ke baad aisa ho sakta hai ki algorithm bohot saare photos like kare jo maine nahi kiye.
