'Welcome To Karachi' The First Bollywood Film To Be Promoted In Pakistan

Upcoming film Welcome To Karachi, which stars Arshad Warsi and Jackky Bhagnani, will be the first Bollywood film to travel to Pakistan for promotions, claim sources attached to the film.

The unit of Welcome To Karachi has been invited by the Cultural Ministry of Pakistan to launch the trailer of the film in Lahore and promote their film throughout the country. Welcome To Karachi will also release simultaneously in both India and Pakistan in May.

''The political satire is about two Indians who land in Karachi without their passports,'' Vashu Bhagnani says adding, ''We've shot 90 per cent of the film in London and the last 10 per cent has been shot in Indore, Mumbai and Karachi. It's a huge honour given to us by the Pakistan government and I'm looking forward to travel to Pakistan along with my movie cast and crew.''
