War and Pathaan's AD Calls War 2 The Weakest Film:

War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr. NTR, has been one of the most anticipated films of the YRF Spy Universe. However, the movie has opened to mixed to negative reviews, and now criticism from within the YRF camp itself has added to the disappointment.

Rajvir Ashar, who worked as an Assistant Director on War(2019) and Pathaan (2023), took to social media to share his thoughts on the film. His review quickly went viral after being spotted on Reddit. In his post, Ashar expressed how deeply let down he felt after watching War 2.

“This one was just a heartbreaking experience for me. I was rooting for this film, and all it did was upset me to no degree! A mid first half is followed by a deplorable and overlong second. Neither did it have enough highs nor was it successful in resonating with me emotionally! The most ‘anticipated’ day turned out to be a ‘colossal’ disappointment. Hearing such strong criticism from someone who has previously worked on the franchise is surprising for fans. Many pointed out that insider opinions carry more weight, making this reaction even more damaging for War 2.

Speaking of reviews, War 2 has received negative to mixed reverse from critics and the audience word of mouth doesn't seem encouraging either. The film it's performing wat behind expectations and that pretty much sums up the whole point of public's low interest on the film.
