Buzz is that two of the finest actors of Hindi cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah, are set to come together in a film. Though there has not been any official confirmation, rumour has it that Hate Story director Vivek Agnihotri is planning to rope the two stars in his next Twelve, that is a remake of Sidney Lumet's 12 Angry Men (1957), which was in turn, based on a play.
Agnihotri also plans to cast stalwarts of Hindi cinema such as Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Pankaj Kapur and Annu Kapoor. Pankaj and Annu have already acted in the film Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, Basu Chatterjee's adaptation of the Lumet film.
The director claims that he has already spoken to all the actors. He was quoted saying, "It's a brilliant story, the action of which takes place within the confines of a single room. It's a classic play and every time it's been made into a film, it has won laurels."
